This novel was full of struggles and sacrifices. How a child tried tremendously to heal the mother’s sickness that she had been suffering before the child was born. Through the story, the writer asked the readers to comprehend what a step mother was. Not all of the step mothers were evil. Step mother was also common mother look alike, a caressing and affectionate creature. This novel implied the readers to anticipate the shallow shows inside TV dramas or movies that seemingly degraded a figure of step mother.

Bunda Aida hanya ibu tiri. Namun, Nayla tidak percaya. Nayla tetap yakin bahwa Bunda Aida adalah ibu kandungnya, bukan ibu tiri seperti dikatakan Wati.

Namun, Wati tetap saja ngotot mengatakan kalau bundanya Nayla hanya ibu tiri. Dia hanyalah ibu kandung Zahra, adik Nayla.

Terutama membujuk Nenek agar mau membawa ibu diajak berobat.

Meskipun ibu Juwita sering teriak-teriak setiap kali Nayla membawakan makanan buat ibu.
